Magnetic Contact

The MicroEngine MAS-MC is a miniature sized magnetic contact with wire leads. The MAS-MC is a surface mounted contact that comes with two pieces. The contact has two wire leads and a built-in reed switch and should be mounted on the door or window frame. The magnet, identical in size, closes the circuit when next to the contact, and should be mounted on the door or window. The MAS-MC comes with self-adhesive strips for easy mounting and is also equipped with cutouts for mounting with screws. The two 26 cm lead wires should be connected to your hardwired alarm control panel. When mounting, keep in mind that the maximum standard gap between the contact and magnet of the MAS-MC when the door or window is closed should be just 1 inch.
