XP-GT/ XP-GTR controller cannot "Up" after configuration setup

This article contains steps to solve the problem with controller XP-GT/ XP-GTR cannot "Up".

  • XP-GT1200L/ XP-GT3200L, XP-GT1200LABX/ XP-GT3200LABX, XP-GT3200LE, XP-GT3200LCPX, XP-GT500LE, XP-GTR1200L/ XP-GTR3200L
 Problem
 

› Controller cannot "Up".
› No communication established between controller and reader.
› How to reset the setting to default factory settings?

 Symptoms
 

› At xPortal software, controller status shown "Down" even the connection setup already correct.
› No transaction shown at the software even user flash card to the reader.

 Cause (optional)
 

› IP Address in used is not accessible/ Not unique/ Being used by other from the same network.   

 Resolution Summary
 
› Perform Coldstart to reset the controller to default factory setting.
› Re-configure the controller.

Perform steps below to solve above issues.

  1. Controller cannot up and communication cannot be established.
