This article contains steps to solve the error during the SMS notification configuration.

Problem Symptoms› After click Test Sending SMS, get message as shown below:
Cause (optional) Resolution Summary ResolutionPlease perform steps below to solve the error.
- Ensure the GSM Modem is powered on and connected to the Server PC.
- Insert the SIM Card properly at the SIM Card slot.
- Connect the GSM Modem to Server PC serial port.
- Power on the GSM Modem.
- Ensure the SMS Notification is enabled and the value selected is "On".
- Ensure the GSM Modem Comm Port No selected is correct.
- Please check from your Device Manager the GSM Modem Comm Port No.
- Right click on My Computer › Properties › Device Manager › Ports (COM & LPT)
