 Problem
 

› Get error message when try to quit xPortal2005 Server.  
 Unable to quit server.

 Symptoms
 

 Get error message as shown below when try to quit the server.
 

 Cause (optional)
 

 The database file is missing.       

 Resolution Summary
 

 Make sure the configuration file is exist.
 The Server folder should not be moved from the server location until you have exited the software. 

 Resolution
 
  1. If you accidentally deleted the xPortal2005 folder from the server location, please restore the folder again.

  2. Then you may quit the server.
  3. If you cannot locate the server folder, please force end task the software manually from the task manager.
    Right click taskbar> Task Manager> xPortal2005 process> Right click process name> End Task

  4. You will be prompted to initialize new database the next time you run the xPortal2005 server.
  5. By initializing new database, you cannot retrieve back old settings as configured from the lost database.
