 Resolution Summary
 

Basic connection for the controller to communicate with the software:

  1. Connect the power terminal to the power supply.
  2. Configure the uplink connection (MCI/ LAN).
  3. Follow the wiring connection diagram to connect the other terminal correctly.
* This controller able to support up to 1 door only.

General wiring connection for XP-GT using MAS-RBT.




FieldConnection to MAS-RBT
Power SupplyConnect Power Supply (12VDC 3A) to terminal +12V and 0v
EM LockConnect to the terminal L/RET and L/NC
Door SensorConnect to the terminal D/S and 0V
Push ButtonConnect to the terminal P/B and 0V
DownlinkXP-GT to MAS-RBT
  • Step 1: Connect terminal DC+ to the terminal C+
  • Step 2: Connect terminal DC- to the terminal C-


General wiring connection for XP-GTR using MAS-RBU.


FieldConnection to MAS-RBU
Power Supply

Connect Power Supply (12VDC 3A) to terminal +12V and 0v

EM LockConnect to the terminal L/RET and L/NC
  • Then connect from +12V to L/CM+ and 0V to L/RET 
Door SensorConnect to the terminal D/S and 0V
Push ButtonConnect to the terminal P/B and 0V
DownlinkXP-GT to MAS-RBU
  • Step 1: Connect terminal DC+ to the terminal RB+
  • Step 2: Connect terminal DC- to the terminal RB-

Reader

Connect XP-GT to external exit reader.


FieldConnection to Controller (XP-GT/ XP-GTR)
Uplink

Using Direct Serial Port:

RS232

  • Step 1: Connect uplink cable to port Uplink RS232 (Follow the label)
  • Step 2: Then connect the RS232 cable to the direct serial port at Server PC

RS485 (MCI)

  • Step 1: Connect uplink cable from the MCI to port Uplink RS485 (Follow the label)
  • Step 2: Then connect the MCI cable to the serial port at Server PC

Using LAN Port:

  • Plug in the Network/ RJ45 cable to the LAN port at the back of the controller


Please power up the controller after complete the connection.

See article below for software configuration. If this is a standalone configuration, you need not to configure the software.
