Required for xPortal2005 v1.1 and xPortal2005 v1.2

› After completing the .NET Framework installation, install the Server and Client accordingly.
› Please login to your windows as an administrator before installing the software. ResolutionPlease complete the following steps to install xPortal2005 software:
Please install pre-requisite installation before proceed.
- Run the Installation CD.
- You may find the following files from your CD.
- Find a folder named xPortal2005. Open folder named xPortal2005 Server.
- Double click on the xPortal2005ServerSetup.msi file to start install the Server software.
- The following windows will be shown. Click Next button to continue.
- Read the License Agreement and select "I Agree" to continue. Then click Next button.
- By default the program files will be installed in C:\ drive.
- You may change the location folder by clicking the Browse button.
- It is recommended to not change the default location folder (for troubleshooting purpose)
- Select "Just me" if you wish to install the software only for yourself. Otherwise select "Everyone".
- Click Next button to continue.
- The installer is ready to install the xPortal Server on your computer. Click Back button to make any changes or click Next to start the installation.
- Please wait until the installation finish.
- This window will be shown when the installation is completed. To finish the installation, click Close button.
- Find a folder named xPortal2005. Then open folder named xPortal2005 Client.
- Double click on the xPortal2005ClientSetup.msi file to start install the Client software.
- The following windows will be shown. Click Next button to continue.
- Read the License Agreement and select "I Agree" to continue. Then click Next button.
- By default the program files will be installed in C:\ drive.
- You may change the location folder by clicking the Browse button.
- Select "Just me" if you wish to install the software only for yourself. Otherwise select "Everyone".
- Click Next button to continue.
- The installer is ready to install the xPortal Client on your computer. Click Back button to make any changes or click Next to start the installation.
- Please wait until the installation finish.
- This window will be shown when the installation is completed. To finish the installation, click Close button.
- After completing the installation, the desktop shortcut will be created at your desktop as following:
