Resolution SummaryUser may configure the settings to allow the software from being blocked by the firewall by configuring the Windows Firewall settings.
If your PC has been installed with AntiVirus, please add exception for the xPortal software installed as well. See

How to add program exception into Antivirus? ResolutionPlease follow steps below to configure the settings.
- Open System and Security from the Control Panel.
- Find "Allow an app through Windows Firewall".
- The next view shows you a list of all the apps that are already allowed to communicate.
- Click the Change settings button to give yourself permissions to make changes or add new apps. You’ll only need to do this once. To add a new app to the list, click "Allow another app".
- In the Add an app window, browse for the xPortal software app you want to allow network access to.
- Click the Network types button to specify whether you want to allow the app access on public or private networks (or both).
- Click OK to save the changes.
