XP-SNET controller "Down"/ No Transaction

 Problem
 

› Controller Down
› No communication between controller and software. 

 Symptoms
 

Yellow LED at network/ RJ45 socket at the controller did not blinking.
Controller status showing "Down" from the Device List at the xPortal software.
No transaction shown at the software.

 Cause (optional)
 

› Network cable is not working properly.
› Incorrect network setting was configured.      

 Resolution Summary
 

To solve the issues: 

  1. Check the network cable used is not broken and can work properly.
  2. Configure the Network Setting correctly from the Web Diagnostics.
  3. Configure the Connection, Controller and Door setup correctly.
  4. Observe the Device Status from the Device List to confirm communication is Up between controller and software.          

 Resolution
 

Perform steps below to solve the issues:


  1. Make sure the network cable is working properly and connected correctly to the controller.

  1. Configure the Network Setting.
  2. Please check that the IP Address assigned for the controller is unique (Available to be use from the same network)
