How to add program exception into Antivirus?

This article contains steps to add program exception/ exclusion into antivirus.

 Resolution
 

In a very rare cases, Antivirus may detect and block some programs as a virus, although you know for sure it’s safe. These wrong detection are called false-positives. If such false-positive detection prevails after the virus definitions update, you may want to exclude the detected software from the Antivirus scan.

 Resolution Summary
 

To exclude the detection, you must add exception/ exclusion of the software from the Antivirus settings. Different Antivirus has different configuration settings. You may browse the steps from the top antivirus link available below:

Please add the xPortal software program at the exception/ exclusion list accordingly.

    Can know what type virus need to add exception, caused we tried added exception in antivirus still problem.

    xPortal3000 Server, Services and Client is working well, only cannot to detect IN & OUT time.

    Hi Lim,

    What is the name of Antivirus software that is currently installed in your machine? Is the Antivirus name listed from the table below?

    If so, you have to add exception/ exclusion for the "xPortal3000" software in your Antivirus software to avoid it being detected as a virus.

    If the software is working well then your Antivirus's exclusion setting is already correct. Please make sure your reader setting is correct. Kindly enable "Is Attendance Capturing Door" setting from the Client > Door and rebuild the attendance again.
