Double leaf door is not release/ 1 door only release

This article contains wiring connection diagram of XP-M1000x for double leaf door to solve the issue door is not release.

Applies To:

  • XP-M1000x, XP-M1000ABX, XP-M1300X, XP-M1300ABX, XP-M1000XE, XP-M1000CPX
 Problem
 

› Only 1 door is open after "Valid Entry Access"/ press push button.
› Both door is not open after flash valid Card No/ press push button.

       
 Symptoms
 
  1. Symptom 1
    1. Only 1 EM Lock is released after "Valid Entry Access".
    2. Only 1 EM Lock is released after push button is pressed.

  2. Symptom 2
    1. Both EM Lock is not released after flash valid Card No.
    2. Both EM Lock is not released after push button is pressed.

         
 Cause (optional)
 
  1. Symptom 1
    1. Only one EM Lock is connected to the MAS-RBU.

  2. Symptom 2
    1. Incorrect wiring connection from MAS-RBU to EM Lock.
    2. Incorrect wiring connection from MAS-RBU to Push Button.
    3. Reader/ MAS-RBU board is not producing power.

         
 Resolution Summary
 
  1. Symptom 1
    1. Please connect both EM Lock to the MAS-RBU correctly.
    2. Please connect both Door Sensor to the MAS-RBU correctly.

  2. Symptom 2
    1. Please connect both EM Lock to the MAS-RBU correctly.
    2. Please connect the controller to a functional MAS-RBU board.
    3. Please connect the reader to a power supply with 12Vdc, 3A.
    4. Please turn ON the reader power.

 Resolution
 

Please complete the following steps below. 

For high resolution image, please download the attached wiring diagram at the end of this article.

Symptom 1

  1. Please check the wiring connection to the MAS-RBU board is correct.
     
    1. Please connect both EM Lock to terminal L/RET and L/NC on MAS-RBU board.
    2. Please connect both Door Sensor to terminal 0V and D/S on MAS-RBU board.
    3. Please connect Push Button to terminal P/B and 0V on MAS-RBU board.

Symptom 2

  1. Please check the wiring connection to the MAS-RBU board is correct. See small Resolution for Symptom 1 above.
  2. Please check the following wiring connection.


    1. Please check the wiring connection from MAS-RBU board to controller is correct.
      1. Please connect RB+ and RB- to terminal DC+ and DC- on XP-M1000x board.
      2. Please connect +12 and 0V on MAS-RBU board to a power supply with +12Vdc, 3A.

    2. Please check the wiring connection from reader to controller is correct.
      1. Please connect the reader according to its wire color correctly.
      2. Please connect the reader to a power supply with +12Vdc, 3A.
      3. Please turn ON the reader power.
