 Problem
 

› How do I prevent error message "Unable to read Mifare card settings! Authentication fail" from showing up when I want to read Card No.?  

       
 Symptoms
 

› Pop up message as shown below will be shown.

         
 Cause (optional)
 

This error message happened to show up because of any following causes below: 

  1. The Read Key configured in the System Properties is not matched with the Read Key set during Program/ Write Card No.
  2. Incorrect Block No. of the programmed Card No. is selected.

         
 Resolution
 

Perform steps below to solve the issue.

  1. Please configure the right Read Key and select the right Block No. of the programmed Card No.
