Below is the details description of the "Bulk Write Card" window:



1. Staff List Grid

Selected staff records will be listed as shown from figure above. The description of the additional fields added as described in the table below:

Field Description
Card Serial No. Card Serial No. of the card will be shown here once it is placed on the programmer.
Status Indicate the status of the programming process:
  • Pending
  • Processing
  • Success
  • Aborted
  • Failed
Error Desc. Will show the error description if the card failed to be programmed or aborted by user.



2. Card Programming Options

There are 2 options provided before start the card programming. Below is the description on each options:

Field Description
Halt processing if exception trapped

If checked:
  • The software will halt the card programming if any problem occurred in the middle of the process.
  • The card programming will be resume after click on Restart for Fail Cases button.
  • The card will not jump to other staff records to be program until the current fail cases is restarted.

If unchecked:

  • If any problem occurred in the middle of the card programming, the software will prompt to place card for the next records. Current card programming records status will be failed.
  • User may program back the failed records by clicking on Restart for Fail Cases button. But, this can only be perform after all records in the list has completed the card programming process.
Verify card after written
  • The purpose of this verification is to verify whether data is written correctly. This option is enabled by default.
  • Please uncheck this option in order to skip the verification and to speed up the programming process


3. Programming Button

These are the buttons you may use during card programming. Description of each button as shown in the table below:

Button Description
small To restart card programming for any failed cases.
small To start the card programming.
small To abort the card programming.
small small To show/ hide the progress details at the bottom.


4. Progress Area

The progress details of Card No. programming will be shown in this area. Below is example progress of the card enrollment:
