This article contains the steps to configure the Input.
Applies To:
- XP-SNET 3.48 and above, XP-CPROA
- Software xPortalNet
Resolution Summary ResolutionPerform steps below to setup Input.
- Please connect the input at the correct Input number. There are 16 Input point reserved for the Inputs on the board.
Field Description
Door Access + Alarm Mode- Set DIP Switch setting 2 & 3 to ON.
- Sensor IN11 - IN16 must connected with resistor 3k3 in supervised input mode.
Alarm Mode- Set DIP Switch setting 3 to ON.
- All sensor input point must connected with resistor 3k3 in supervised input mode.
- If settings configured is for (Door Access + Alarm Mode), please refer table below for input configurations.
Field Description
IN1 - IN10- For Door Input (Door Sensor and Push Button)
- Only can trigger Output Relay 1 - Relay 5 (EM Lock Output)
IN11 - IN16- For Sensor Input (Extra Input)
- Only can trigger Output Relay 6 - Relay 8 (Extra Output)
- If settings configured is for (Alarm Mode), please refer table below for input configurations.
Field Description
IN1 - IN16- Sensor Input. Can trigger all Output Relay (1 - 8)
Please ensure the controller is already configured and the status is "Up" before proceed.
Alarm Controller Setup
- Login to xPortalNet Server.
- Open Alarm Controller Setup. Go to Server Admin › System Device Setup › Alarm Controller.
- Add one alarm controller.
.Please select the correct Model No according to the installed alarm controller. If not connected to any alarm controller, set the Model No to Built-In IO. - Click OK to confirm and save settings.
- Open Input Point. Go to Server Admin › System Device Setup › Input Point.
- Add input point according to the connected input at the controller board.
Field Description Code and Description Fill in the Code and Description Alarm Controller Select Alarm Controller Point No Set the Input Point - Which Input Number (IN) the input is connected to. - Example: If Input is connected to IN2, set the Point No to 1.
- The Input Point No start from 0 until 15.
LED Point Association Set the LED Point Association Priority Set the priority of the alarm trigger - Please leave the Event Trigger Arm and Disarm blank.

- Open Send Door Settings. Go to Device Comm › Send Door Setting.
- Download the Alarm Controller and Inputs settings to the controller.
