Using MV-25 LAN interface unit means to configure the controller connection using LAN Ethernet Port. 

LAN Ethernet Port: This connection method allows controllers to use the existing Local Area Network (LAN) as communication medium. The host PC must be on the same LAN as the controllers. At the controller site, you'll need a LAN Interface Unit (MV 25) as an interface between Ethernet and controllers.
