1. The card capacity of XP-M1000X is:
   
1. 1000 cards in Door Access Mode and Time Attendance Mode. 
2. Car Park Mode will support up to 2000 cards. 
   
   
2.  XP-M1000X supports two methods for installing cards:   
1. Card number capture.
2. Manually keying card number.

Perform this steps to install card to XP-M1000x controller.

1. Enter Programming Menu. See  How to enter to XP-M1000x Programming Mode?
2. Press '2' for Database menu.
3. Press '1' for Install Card. The screen as below will be shown:
   
   
   
4. You can flash the card to be installed to the reader or manually enter the six digits card number.
5. Then press '#' to save the new card number to the system.
   
   Every card installed will have default cardPIN number. To change it see  How to change CardPIN number when using XP-M1000x?
6. Repeat step 4 for next card.
7. Press '*' when finished installing card and return to Database menu.
