› I have deleted staff record from the software. But why that staff still able to access door?
› Staff records already deleted from the software. But staff still can access door.
› Get "Valid Entry Access" transaction but the name shown is "Unlisted User" as shown below.
› Controller is down during deleting the staff records.
› Staff records was deleted from the software but yet to be deleted from the controller.
› Make sure the controller status is "Up".
Delete staff record from the software:
› Since the staff records already deleted from the software, you must re-add the staff records again then only can delete the staff records from the controller.
Delete staff record from the controller: (Not applicable to multi-door controller)
› You may delete the staff record from the controller manually if you don’t want to re-add the staff records again.
Please perform steps below to solve the issue.
Delete staff record from the software:
- Login to xPortal Client.
- Please make sure the controller status is "Up".
- Re-add the staff records that yet to be deleted from the controller. See AA-00279.
» You are advised to add all previously deleted records to avoid mismatch record deleted at the controller.
- Use Import Staff for faster record addition since the deletion process later will only lookup for the Staff Code, Staff No and Card No only.
- Make sure the record added is similar to the previous deleted records. Otherwise the staff record will not be deleted from the controller.
- After adding all staff records, you may delete the records back.
» Please ensure the controller status is "Up".
- You may also use Import Staff to delete all staff records added. See AA-00282 for the import staff step.
» At Import Rules, please select "Delete Only".
- After finished the deletion process, make sure the Delivery Report status shown is all Sent OK.
- Flash card to confirm the Staff Records have successfully deleted.
- The deleted staff records should get "Unlisted User" and "Unknown Card Number" transaction as shown below.
Delete staff record from the controller:
(Not applicable to multi-door controller)
A- XP-SR1000 controller:
- Enter Programming Menu.
- See AA-00273.
B- XP-M1000x controller:- Enter Programming Menu.
- Press '2' for Database menu.
- Press '2' for Delete Card.
- You can flash the card to be deleted to the reader or manually enter the six digits card number and press '#' to confirm deleting the card from the system.
- Repeat step 4 for next card.
- Press '*' when finished deleting card and return to Database menu.
C- XP-GT/ GTR controller:
- Enter Programming Menu.
- Press '2' for Database menu.
- Press '3' for Delete User. This will bring us to the Delete User screen.
- You can flash the card to be deleted to the reader or manually enter the six digits card number and press '' to confirm deleting the card from the system.
- If the user is not exists, a confirmation will appear to notify you that the user has been deleted.
- Enter a new User ID to delete another user, or Press '×' to return to Database menu.
