Unable to delete existing Door Accessibility

This article contains steps to fix the problem where user unable to delete the existing Door Accessibility at the xPortal software.

 Problem
 

› Unable to delete Door Accessibility. 

 Symptoms
 

 Get error message as shown below when try to delete Door Accessibility.

     

 Cause (optional)
 

 Door Accessibility is already assigned to card holders.      

 Resolution Summary
 
 To delete the Door Accessibility, you must unassigned that particular Door Access from the card holder first.
      
 Resolution
 

Perform steps below to solve the issue:

  1. Open staff records. Go to Data Setup › Access Data Setting › Staff Records.

    Please make sure that you unassigned all card holder(s) that assigned to the same Door Access. Only then you will be able to delete that Door Accessibility.

  2. Select different Door Access than the one that you wish to delete.
  3. Click OK to confirm and save changes.
  4. Open Door Accessibility and resume deleting the Door Accessibility.


  5. Finished.
