› I just install xPortal2007. How to install Firebird Server?   

› Cannot initialize xPortal2007 database.

› Firebird Server is yet to be initialized.

Please follows steps below to install the Firebird Server:

1. Run the Firebird installer. Right click and select "Run as Administrator".
   
   


2. Select your preferred Setup Language.
   


3. Click Next to continue.
   


4. Please read the License Agreement carefully. Accept the agreement and then click Next to continue.
   


5. Please read the important information before continue. Click Next to continue.
   


6. Browse the location to install the Firebird or you may use the Default location. Click Next to continue.
   


7. At Select Components page, make sure the setup is similar as following. Click Next to continue.
   


8. Browse the location for program’s shortcuts or you may use the Default location. Click Next to continue.
   


9. At Select Additional Tasks page, make sure the setup is similar as following. Click Next to continue.
   


10. The Setup is ready to begin installing Firebird. If you want to review or change any settings, you may click Back. Otherwise, click Install to continue with the installation.
    


11. Please wait while Setup installs Firebird on your computer.
    


12. Please read the following important information before continuing. Click Next to continue.
    


13. Setup has finished installing Firebird on your computer. Make sure "Start Firebird Service now?" is checked. Click Finish to exit Setup.
