This article contains steps to change the XP-M1000x controller's verification mode to Card+Pin mode.

Problem Resolution Summary Resolution- Enter Programming Mode. Key in "*" (asterisk) followed by 6 digits Master PIN.
- Press '1' for Sys menu.
- Press '2' for Door Para. Press '#' to proceed to the next item until you find 'Card+Pin' menu.
- Change the menu value to 'ON' by pressing '0' to toggle between settings.
- Press '#' to proceed to the next item.
- Continue doing this until the Save Changes page is displayed.
- Press '#' to save changes and exit from the Door Parameter setting.
