› Failure of LAN communication between controller to xPortal Server.
Connection Settings:
› Make sure the controller is connected to a network switches/ router using a network cable.
› Make sure the network router/ switches has powered up.
› Make sure the network cable used is working and in a good condition.
Network Settings:
› Make sure the Windows Firewall is turn off and antivirus has been disabled.
› Make sure the network setting is correct in both controller and software xPortal Server.
› Make sure the Controller Unit No./ System Addr. No set in General Parameter of the controller is match and correct with the setting set in the controller setup in xPortal Server.
Ensure the connection from controller to the PC is correct. Please refer to the connection guide below:
Connection Settings:
- Connect the controller to a network switches/ router using a network cable.
- Ensure the network router/ switches has powered up.
- Ensure the network cable used is working and in a good condition.
- Ensure the network cable type used:
- Use crossover cable, if controller directly connected to the PC without connecting to router or switches.
- Use straight cable or standard LAN cable if controller connected to the router or switches.
