Why the EM Lock does not release after scan a user card which has been installed to the XP-SR200K reader?

This article contains steps to fix the problem of XP-SR200K where the door does not released even after the valid card is scanned at the reader.

 Problem
 

› The door cannot be opened after scanning a user card.      

         
 Symptoms
 
› EM Lock does not release after scan a user card. 
› EM Lock does not release after press the push button.
› LED on MAS-RB does not triggered on after Push Button is pressed or valid user card is used.
         

 Cause (optional)
 
› Relay board (MAS-RB) is faulty.
› The wiring connection of relay board is incorrect.
› The reader is in Programming Mode.
› EM Lock faulty.
› Door sensor faulty.
› Reader faulty.

         
 Resolution Summary
 

Resolution 1:
› Make sure the wiring connection is correct.

Resolution 2:
› Make sure the reader is not in the Programming Mode.

Resolution 3:
› Make sure the user card has been installed to the reader.

         
 Resolution
 

Please complete the following steps below in order to resolve your issue. 

Resolution 1:

  1. Please make sure the wiring connection is correct. 
  2. See AA-00244 to learn how to check the wiring connection.

Resolution 2:

  1. Make sure the reader is not in the Programming Mode.
  2. Please ensure the Blue LED is turn off.

Resolution 3:

  1. Make sure the user card has been installed to the reader.
  2. When reader detecting an installed card which is valid access, 
    1. Blue LED will be turn on and the EM Lock should be released.

  3. If problem persist, press the Exit Button to check whether the EM Lock can be released.
  4. If problem persist, adjust the Lock Release Time to 10 sec.
    1. Enter to Programming Mode.
    2. Press "72" and enter "10".
    3. Press "#" to confirm and exit from operation.
