› Unable to run xPortalNet Server. Error message will be shown.  

› Error message as shown below will be pop up.
   

› Upon initializing database, the server name is not change from localhost to SQL Server name.    

› Re-initialized the database.

Please perform steps below to solve the issue.

1. Please quit/ stop any running xPortalNet software. 
2. Re-initialize the database.
   
   Please make sure the xPortalNet folder is not yet created at server location folder.
   

   Windows	Default Server Location
   Windows XP Windows Server 2003 Windows Server 2003 R2	C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\MicroEngine
   Windows 7 Windows 8 Windows 10 Windows Server 2008 Windows Server 2008 R2 Windows Server 2012 Windows Server 2012 R2 Windows Vista	C:\ProgramData\MicroEngine

3. If the folder already created, please delete the folder. 
   
   Caution: You can only delete the folder if it is new database initialization. If it is existing database, please make a database backup before can delete it. 
   
   
   
4. Run xPortalNet Service and xPortalNet Server again to re-initialize the database.
1. Change the Server Name from localhost to the correct SQL Server name.
2. Enter the correct password to access the SQL Server.
3. Click Initialize Database.
   


5. The following pop up message will be shown to determine that user has successfully created database. Click OK.
   


6. Database initialization completed. 
7. Login to the xPortalNet Server and xPortalNet Client accordingly.
