Configure the wiring connection of the controller according to the wiring diagram provided. Ensure the controller, reader and relay board are supplied with power with 12Vdc, 3A.

Turn
ON the power after complete the wiring connection. Please verify that the MAS-RB2 relay board is functional. (Ensure the relay board is producing power)

  1. Check the wiring connection is correct upon the installation.
  2. Check the Reader can be power ON after connected to a power supply with 12Vdc, 3A.
  3. Ensure the EM Lock will be in lock condition during Idle Mode when power on.

 Resolution

Please complete the following steps below.

Refer to the attached wiring diagram at the end of this article for best view.

Configure the wiring connection according to the following wiring diagram.

  1. Power ON the reader by connect it to a power supply with 12Vdc, 3A.
  2. Make sure the terminal output from XP-SK32 to lock is producing correct voltage level.
  3. To measure the voltage level at terminal output of XP-SK32, connect the Multimeter's Red Probe to the L/NC and Black Probe to the L/RET.
    1. When door security status is ON, the EM Lock should be in locked condition.
» The voltage measured at terminal
      L/NC and L/RET showed is about 12V (±10 %)

    2. When door security status is OFF, the EM Lock should be in unlocked condition (Door released).
» The voltage measured at terminal
      L/NC and L/RET approximately +12Vdc (±10 %)

  4. Make sure the EM Lock is released when pressing the exit button. LED on the MAS-RB will turned on when EM Lock is released.
