This article contains steps to fix the error encounter upon login to xPortal2005.

 Problem
 

› Cannot log in to xPortal2005 server.      

       
 Symptoms
 

 "Process Performance Counter Is Disable, Request Operation Can Not Perform" error appears when I login to xPortal2005 Server.

         
 Cause (optional)
 

 System file error.

         
 Resolution Summary
 
 Replace files "perfc009.dat" and "perfh009.dat" in System32.
 
         
 Resolution
 

Please complete the following steps in order to resolve the issue. 

  1. Get the copy of "perfc009.dat" and "perfh009.dat" in System32.
    • From other PC (Make sure the file is not corrupted, which mean the xPortal software can be run) OR
    • Download the required files from the link provided at the end of the article and then extract the SYSTEM32 Files*.rar file.
  2. Make sure xPortal2005 software is not running.
  3. Please go to C:\Windows\System32\ OR C:\%Systemroot%\System32\.
  4. Backup the original "perfc009.dat" and "perfh009.dat" file.
  5. Paste the copy of "perfc009.dat" and "perfh009.dat" file (Refer Step 1) to the System32 and replaced the existing file. 
  6. Re-run MicroEngine application again and check all setting.
  7. Ensure all setting are correct.
  8. Finish.
