 Problem
 

› Why door does not open when fire alarm is triggered on?                

 Symptoms
 

 EM Lock still engaged when fire alarm is triggered.

 Cause (optional)
 

 Incorrect connection of Fire Alarm Panel to XP-CPROA.
 Door does not connected to the controller which connected with Fire Alarm Input.
 Fire Alarm Door Release is disabled in xPortal Server.

 Resolution Summary
 
  1. Check the wiring connection from Fire Alarm Panel to XP-CPRO is correct.
  2. Make sure the door that is connected to the Fire Alarm Input is connected properly to the controller.
  3. Enable the Fire Alarm Door Release setting.
  4. Download the Door Setting to the controller.
 Resolution
 

Perform following steps to solve the issue.

  1. Configure the wiring connection properly. 
  2. Then enable the Fire Alarm Door Release setting. See article small How to connect Fire Alarm to XP-CPROA alarm controller?
