 Resolution Summary
 

Configure the wiring connection of the controller according to the wiring diagram provided. Ensure the controller, reader and relay board are supplied with power with 12Vdc, 3A. 

Turn ON the power after complete the wiring connection. Please verify that the MAS-RB/ MAS-RB2 relay board is functional. (Ensure the relay board is producing power)

Please complete the following steps below.

Refer to the attached wiring diagram at the end of this article for best view. 


Configure the wiring connection according to the following wiring diagram.




  1. Please check the connection to PC using Network/ RS485 is correct. Refer figure below.


  2. Check the TTL reader is correctly connected. Refer figure below.

  3. Power ON the reader by connect it to a power supply with 12Vdc, 3A.
  4. Make sure the terminal output from MAS-RB to lock is producing correct voltage level. 
  5. To measure the voltage level at terminal output of MAS-RB, connect the Multimeter's Red Probe to the L/NC and Black Probe to the L/RET.

    1. When door security status is ON, the EM Lock should be in locked condition. 
      » The voltage measured at terminal L/NC and L/RET showed is about 12V (±10 %)

    2. When door security status is OFF, the EM Lock should be in unlocked condition (Door released).
      » The voltage measured at terminal L/NC and L/RET approximately +12Vdc (±10 %)
