Why the daily attendance shows clock in time but showing 00:00 for clock out time?

 Problem
 

› Incorrect attendance report generated. Clock out time is showing "00:00"

       
 Symptoms
 

 Clock in time showing the right transaction time, but clock out time showing 00:00.

 In attendance report, some of staff attendance records showed "InComplete" and clock out time showed in the report is "00:00".

         
 Cause (optional)
 

 Is Attendance Capturing Door is not set according to the correct door configuration.
 Card user forgot to clock out/ flash card when exit the door.

         
 Resolution Summary
 

 Make sure the capturing door is properly configured.
 Please ensure all staff clock in and out/ flash card when enter or exit the door.

         
 Resolution
 

Please follow the following steps to solve the issue:

  1. Make sure the capturing door is properly configured.
    • Login to xPortal Client. 
    • Open Door Setup. (Go to Data Setup › System Setting › Door)
    • To capture both entry and exit, please select both option (Att. In and Att. Out) from the menu.
  2. Rebuild the daily attendance again. The clock out time should be displayed accordingly.
  3. The clock out time will be shown 00:00 if the staff is not clock out/ flash card at the reader upon exiting the door.
